Meet the Fitters
Three People, One Beam, No Rotating Cast
Whoever you book with is one of the three people who actually work here. There is no larger bench of part-time staff behind the schedule — if your name is on the calendar, so is theirs.
Marcus Fontenot
Ten years calibrating industrial instruments before he opened the studio, which is exactly why the beam gets checked against a certified reference weight before the first client of the day. Runs full bag and iron fitting sessions personally and still handles the weekly beam calibration himself rather than delegate it.
Dana Broussard
Played four years on the LSU golf team before turning to fitting full time. Runs the wedge and short game sessions, and is the one who insists on real turf testing rather than an indoor mat for anything involving bounce and grind.
Wes Trahan
Handles the build bench: reshafting, regripping, length work and the tip and butt weighting used to correct swingweight without swapping components. Every finished build passes across his beam a second time before it leaves the shop.
You Can Request Someone, or Let the Bench Decide
The booking form lets you name a preferred fitter. If you leave it blank, whoever has an open slot that best matches your session type takes it — Dana for wedge and short game work, Wes for anything that is mostly a build or a recheck, Marcus for full bag and iron matching sessions.
One Standing Rule
Whoever runs your session is the one who signs the printed spec sheet at the end. If a question comes up about a build weeks later, you are calling the person who actually made the call, not a front desk reading notes off a file.
